This project is inspired by a French poem by Florence Saint-Roche:

” Du jardin vient une lumière qui ne peut venir de nous. “

English: “From the garden comes a light that cannot come from us.”

In this video work, the artist seeks to convey the essence and contemplation of that poem through visual expression. With artistic direction, a specific subject—a female character—is positioned alongside a photograph by Abbas Kiarostami (the acclaimed Iranian filmmaker and photographer) installed on a gallery wall. By combining this imagery with subtle motion and the music of Loreena McKennitt, the work creates a new, immersive artistic experience that merges visual art, narrative presence, and sound into a cohesive poetic dialogue.
