Curatorial Collaboration & Visual Communication Systems
2022–2024
Elahe Panahi collaborates with Sham Art Gallery across curatorial and visual communication practices, contributing to the development of exhibition frameworks, spatial narratives, and visual identity systems. Her role operates at the intersection of curatorial thinking and graphic systems, where exhibition identity extends beyond documentation to actively shape the perceptual and experiential dimensions of the gallery environment.
Her practice focuses on the translation of curatorial concepts into visual and spatial form, exploring how exhibition structures can generate meaning through composition, sequencing, and visual language. Within this framework, graphic systems are understood not only as representational tools but as integral components of the exhibition’s conceptual and spatial articulation.
Selected Project
We (Traveling Group Exhibition), 2023–2024
Panahi contributed to the conceptual development and visual framing of this traveling group exhibition presented in the United Kingdom and Iran. Her involvement included shaping the curatorial structure, defining the visual narrative, and ensuring coherence across spatial and communicative elements. The project explored collective identity and transnational artistic exchange through a multi-voiced curatorial approach.
Visual & Exhibition Work
In parallel with curatorial collaboration, Panahi has developed visual identities, poster designs, and communication materials for photography, video art, and contemporary art exhibitions, as well as artist books and institutional publications. Her work operates within expanded visual systems that connect curatorial intent, design thinking, and contemporary art presentation across physical and digital contexts.
