This project is based on the poem:
“Life is a small spring, yet we have eyes with which to fill our hearts with its light.”
Most of the principal subjects in this project are reflections of light, trees, human figures, and other elements in water. Each reflection becomes an opportunity to record a unique and unprecedented experience. The encounter and interplay between light and water may be the primary source of images that lead us toward a deeper understanding of life’s highs and lows. In this project, the camera assumes the role of our eyes, capturing and preserving images, thereby granting us more time to contemplate the meaning of life.
– 2016, Two works from this collection were selected for a group exhibition at STRYX Gallery, October 2019, Birmingham, UK
