Organized by the French Embassy in Iran for the European Heritage Days 2021

Elahe Panahi was one of three artists commissioned by the French Embassy in Iran to contribute to the official poster series for Art déco & Mouvement Moderne, Paris – Téhéran. Presented on the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the project engaged in a contemporary visual dialogue with the shared modernist architectural heritage of France and Iran.

The program was developed in collaboration with leading cultural institutions including Jariaan Contemporary Communication, the Tehran Museum of Graphic Design, the French Institute, FRAC Centre-Val de Loire, and CNAP. Her contribution was presented as part of a curated visual collection and later published in a limited-edition art monograph.

The project reflects an ongoing interest in architectural memory, cultural translation, and the reactivation of historical forms within contemporary visual discourse.
